Ezemvelo 2009

It was indeed a privilege to be able to ride in such a stunning part of the country and to experience the animals at such close range - the herd is wildebeest were in fact a bit too close at full speed - both them and me! The ride was, as usual, extremely well organized and will be a constant ride in my riding calendar.
August van Heerden (rider of all BIKE4BEATS Challenges)

This was a wonderfully organised event and a great day out for the whole family.

…to have fun with friends & family and enjoy all the new places and scenery.
Cornell van der Westhuizen (winning male)The race on Sunday was one of the best MTB races I have taken part in. The organisation, logistics, route / route marking and marshalling was fantastic!
Mellis Walker – Exxaro Base Metals

It was a great pleasure to be part of the LROC team and to have cycled the event.
Ezemvelo is a great venue.
Trevor Fletcher (Land Rover Owners Club)

Willem van Niekerk (Ph.D) Executive General Manager, ExxaroIt was a privilege to participate in this race. Early on in the race me and Daleen knew we were riding in podium spots and settled into 3rd and 4th. Around the 45km mark we talked about going for joint 3rd and donating the prize money back. It is fantastic to be in a position in life to donate and contribute but the real hero's are the people out in the field, working hands on and tirelessly to make a difference and to motivate others to make a difference. I loved the race at Ezemvelo. Can't wait to try Venetia in April.
